Comparing POM H and POM C acetals in Sheet and Rods

Homopolymer Acetal or Delrin is the best plastic for turning on a CNC lathe lathe. It is easy to turn, but it does require slow speeds. I have used this plastic to make Scottish small pipes chanters. I have purchased countless items from Industrial Plastic. Small pieces usually ship quickly and everything was well packed. I’ve never had a problem with an order.
Between the Delrin and POM-C rods, both materials are incredibly tough and easily machinable, as they have very similar physical properties. They do look similar, but in practical uses there are a few differences that may make one preferable than the other. It also depends on your application. As with all plastic materials, be sure to check the typical properties data sheet for the applicable properties you may need for your application.
